Rosa and The Mother Time of the Year

1 Rosa/June 13

Rosadi/Tues. (Rose day. Day of Madria Vicka (as well as Her feast day!)

O, Madria Vicka, Jana of Courage, Strength and Valor, be with us. May the Pure Stream of Your Virtues flow within me, in this world and in all the worlds to come. Blessed are You.

Please note that the following have been added to the prayer list:

For Mitch, who is missing,

For the healing of Lyric,

For the healing or highest good of Tinkerbell. Thank you.

Today, in the Deanic calendar,, marks the first day of Summer and the beginning of the Mother time of year, which will last until the beginning of the Sacred Season of Winter.

Both the liturgical color and the seasonal color is red. Red is the symbolic color for the Element of Fire, the Element of Summer and it is also the color of the robes of Madria Vicka who is the Ruler of Summer and the Guardian of Fire. Where red is the color of Madria Vicka’s robes, our veils/head-coverings during formal prayer/RoS/liturgy through-out the Summer should be red. Where red is the Elemental color of the Season, our altar cloths should be red or have red in them, as well.

The Sacred Symbol for this Season is the Rose and so many of our sisters and devotees choose to wear a blessed rose pendant until the beginning of Fall.

This Season celebrates the Celestial Mother as the Rose of Joy. The Divine Mystery is the Fifth Mystery which is Assumpta, meaning that the Celestial Mother is the Assumption of our souls. The cardinal direction is, of course, South and the time of day is Noon.

Feast days and months during this holy Season are:

During the month of Rosa, which means Rose:
