About Me

My background
I was brought up an atheist, after my parents were treated terribly by the protestant Christian church.
I was also brought up to be polite, kind, considerate and a pacifist.
My mother was the focus and head of our household.

I read about mythology and deities from the age of 12. I have never believed in a Father God as a creator.
I read about traditional Wicca of the Gardenarian variety, I refused a face to face invitation from our village postmistress to join a local coven.
But I actually performed the rituals of Starhawk, from The Spiral Dance: a Rebirth of the Ancient Religion of the Great Goddess (published 1979). The Spiral Dance is distinguished by its visionary mysticism and ecstatic experience, and by its emphasis on women and the Goddess (although it also brings in the God, similar to most forms of Wicca). [I did not know this at the time: Starhawk trained with Victor Anderson, founder of the Feri Tradition of witchcraft, (early and influential liturgical codification of Anderson craft), and with Zsuzsanna Budapest, a feminist separatist involved in Dianic Wicca].

From The Spiral Dance
by Starhawk

‟Alone, awesome, complete within Herself, the Goddess, She whose name cannot be spoken, floated in the abyss of the outer darkness, before the beginning of all things. As She looked into the curved mirror of black space, She saw by her own light her radiant reflection, and fell in love with it. She drew it forth by the power that was in Her and made love to Herself, and called Her “Miria, the Wonderful”.

Their ecstacy burst forth in the single song of all that is, was, or ever shall be, and with the song came motion, waves that poured outward and became all the spheres and circles of the worlds. The Goddess became filled with love, swollen with love, and She gave birth to a rain of bright spirits that filled the worlds and became all beings.

But in that great movement, Miria was swept away, and as She moved out from the Goddess She became more masculine. First She became the Blue God, the gentle, laughing god of love. Then She became the Green One, vine-covered, rooted in the earth, the spirit of all growing things. At last She became the Horned God, the Hunter whose face is the ruddy sun and yet dark as Death. But always desire draws Him back toward the Goddess, so that He circles Her eternally, seekintg to return in love.

All began in love; all seeks to return to love. Love is the law, the teacher or wisdom, and the great revealer of mysteries.ˮ

I discovered a first edition September-December 1982 The Coming Age presents The Book of Rhiannë : the definitive introduction to matriarchy and the feminine tradition, in an alternative bookshop aged approx. 18 and paid for the 4 booklets and The Coming Age : A Madrian Review of Religion, Life And Culture periodicals. I then made contact with Ordo Lux Madriana/proto Aristasia. Free PDF to download here http://filianicstudies.org/cms/items/show/84

My own pathway to Déa/Mother God Supreme:
Adult initiation ceremony aged 21, into the Madrian Faith, after 7 months, by Ordo Lux Madriana.
I only had a partial understanding and more importantly no spiritual connection to Inanna as Déa the Holy Daughter.
A correspondence student of Ordo “Lesser Known” Ekklesia Madriana.
I am a solitary member of the multi faith organisation the Fellowship of Isis.
I had a very simple Madrian based Madria Déa Faith for decades.

I read on the internet of the 1st Independent Filianic Tradition: the Collyridian Filianic Communion founded (2009-2011) by Rev. Sarah-Andrea Amy Morrigan, who had been ordained in 2005 by an independent Catholic denomination. She had left Christianity to pursue feminine spirituality and solidarity with the oppressed. St. Brigid Institute for Collyridian Filianism (a special mission), The Rt. Rev. Sarah Morrigan, (President).
I remember looking on the internet and being reassured that the Faith was thriving.

In June of 2015, The Matronite Chantry of Rt. Rev. Georgia E. B. Cobb and The Matronite Flame of Rt. Rev. Pamela Marie Lanides were joined under the mantle of The Greater Matronite Ekklesia.
When in August of 2015, I discovered the website of The Matronites, I was blessed by a virtual meeting with two kind, thoroughly knowledgable women.
Between them, they restored me to full participation in the beliefs, devotions and liturgies of Déa as Holy Feminine Trinity.

ArchMatrona Georgia E. B. Cobb followed her soul path forming The Lady of Light Chantry (The LLC), A Deanic Matronite Harmonium (The Lucienne Tradition). [3]
ArchMadria Pamela Lanides developed the thealogy and psalms of The Divine Sophia Who is Déa Religion and Priestesshood/Kore Di-Jana Ekklesia & Order of Priestesses (KD-JOP) (previously known as Janites). [4]

Our Lineage
Our lineage is through Madrian Charisma (Grace/Energy) officiated by Déa as High Priestess. In an official, non-sectarian, world-wide, ordaining body: the Universal Life Church/ULC. [1] It is also through Esoteric Interfaith Church, Inc. (legally incorporated non-profit) [2]
The Esoteric Interfaith Theological Seminary is the educational institution of the Esoteric Interfaith Church, Inc., a non-profit non-denominational church with IRS 501c3 tax exempt status that accepts, acknowledges and respects all faiths of the world that are dedicated to the service of the Divine.

My Own Ordinations
I have never had any other religion apart from Déanic in this soul incarnation/life on our Sister Earth.

I was “grandmothered through” [5] the 3 levels of apprenticeship within The Divine Sophia Who is Déa Priestesshood/Kore Di-Jana Order of Priestesses (KD-JOP) (previously known as Janites).

[5] “Grandmothered through” meaning due to the length of time in the Madrian/Filianic/Déanic Faith devotees could be more swiftly ordained.

I was ordained a Madrina (Guardian/God Mother) on the Holy Feast of Rosa Coeli, Rose of Heaven 9 Rosa/June 21 2017 by ArchMadria Pamela Lanides.
(Because of being “grandmothered through” [5] and the requirements of Kore Di-Jana Order of Priestesses (KD-JOP) I was ordained a Madria earlier than planned).
I was ordained a Madria (Mother Priestess) on the Holy Feast of Eastre, 1 Columbina/March 21, 2018 by ArchMadria Pamela Lanides, witnessed by ArchMadria Kathi of the Marian Shrine of the Gentle Way, a Madrina and a Sorella.

I was elevated to an ArchMadria (High Mother Priestess) on the Holy Feast of Eastre, 1 Columbina/March 21, 2019 by ArchMadria Pamela Lanides, witnessed by ArchMadria Kathi of the Marian Shrine of the Gentle Way, a Madrina and a Sorella.

I always notified my Madrian correspondents about my ordinations, who also witnessed.

The Process of Ordination
1. Called to the Priestesshood through sensory experience(s) of Déa. (I had clairolfaction – smelling, and clairvoyance – seeing Celestial Mother Déa Madria)
2. Followed by an apprenticeship.
3. It is up to the leaders and the members of each present day Madrian/Filianic/Déanic Tradition to decide what it means to be a priestess of Déa and who qualifies.
4. Ordained through sacrament.

The Divine Sophia Who is Déa Priestesshood/Kore Di-Jana Order of Priestesses (KD-JOP) (previously known as Janites)
was set up for the express PURPOSE of being a sacerdotal order.
They are given, upon ordination, the Graces necessary to perform the Communion Rite and other sacraments.

Rev. Pamela Lanides was raised as a Roman Catholic with a great devotion to the Virgin Mary.
She has studied religion, under both scholars and university professors, for almost five decades.
She spent two decades searching for the Feminine God Supreme.
Rev. Pamela Lanides is an ordained Apostolic ISM priest (ess) of Sophia. She was ordained through Ekklesia Epignostika, which is presided over by Rt. Rev. Katia Romanov.

This Apostolic Lineage [6] is recognized by the Liberal and Independent Catholic Churches.

Offer of Assistance to the Madrian/Filianic/Deanic Greater Community
We are happy to assist devotees who have had a calling from Déa and who wish to found their own Tradition and ordain their own clergy.
There are certain stages and inclusions to ensure a valid ordination.
