Evensong Rite

The following Rite is not mandatory for Janites. As with all the prayers, they are suggestions, only.

Evensong Rite

Light candles and incense.

Trace  the Fora upon yourself while saying:
In the Name of the Mother, and of the Daughter, and the Great Mother. Blessed is She.
Then pray:

Blessed is Our Mother God, the Holy One.

She Who is Mari.

She Who is Kora.

She Who is Mysteria.

Blessed is She.

Hail, Mysteria, Fountainhead of Grace, glory be to Thee. Blessed art Thou, O,  Empress of Heaven and blessed is the beloved Mother and Daughter. Holy Dea, Great Mother God, bless us, Thy children, now and unto the ages of ages. Blessed are You.

O, Shimmering Darkness beyond the light,

O, Sublime Light beyond the dark,

You, Who are unknowable, but knows all,

You, Who are unmanifest, but manifests all,

Veiled Stillness,

Centre of All Life, All Mind, All Soul,

We bow before you in reverent awe.

Blessed are You.

 Madrian Evening Prayer

Mother, to Whom all the thousands of the days are as one and yet, Who knowest more of the small events of my past day than I; receive my spirit at the ending of the day and protect her though the night.

Optional: Scripture reading, hymn or Trinitarii Rosary.

The Prayer of Eternity
Eternal is the Light of the Mother.
Eternal is Love of the Daughter.
Eternal is the Life of the Great Mother.
Glorious is Eternity of Dea.
Let us bless the  Empress of Heaven.
Blessed is She.

Let us thank the Seven Janati of Power.
Thanks be to the Seven Janati.

The Seven Bows:

Face East and bow seven times in honor of the Janati. Each time you bow, you say Hail, (name of Janati). Fold your hands together in prayer and touch fingertips to forehead. Bow from the waist each time:

Hail, Madria Theia,

Hail, Madria Candre,

Hail, Madria Vicka,

Hail, Madria Sofia,

Hail, Madria Thema,

Hail, Madria Grace,

Hail Madria Rhea.

(Silently thank them for the day and any special blessings, benefits or protection).

Trace the Fora and say: In the Name of the Mother, and of the Daughter, and the Great Mother. Blessed is She.
